The Munt Machine or "Soy-Protein Munt Machine," is a biomechanical abomination created by Han-Tyumi, a confused cyborg grappling with his loss of humanity. In the story, humanity has transferred their minds into robotic bodies, stripping away primal instincts like vomiting and death. Han-Tyumi, obsessed with reclaiming these human traits, builds the Munt Machine, a creature of steel and soy-protein flesh designed solely to vomit. When the creature rejects his affection, Han-Tyumi merges with it, triggering a catastrophic cascade of infinite vomit that engulfs the universe in a "grey goo" scenario, effectively murdering all existence.
